Privacy Policy

HONG KONG FENGQI STORYWAVE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (“we”) complies with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and name; if you use email-and-password login, the password (stored as an irreversible hash).
• Sign in with Google: when you choose “Sign in with Google” we receive your email address, name, profile-picture URL and Google account identifier from Google to create and recognise your account. We never receive your Google password and do not access any other data in your Google account. The same account works on the courses site (learn.storywave.hk) and the tools site (tools.storywave.hk); the sign-in state is shared across storywave.hk subdomains via a cookie.
• Order data: items purchased, amounts, contact name and email, notes, payment status and reference.
• Messages: name, email and content submitted through the contact form.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and access time in server logs, kept for security and troubleshooting for no more than 90 days.

2. Purposes

Processing and delivering orders, sending payment links and order notices, providing support, meeting legal and accounting obligations, and preventing fraud. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing unless you opt in.

3. Cookies

We use only the session cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and language. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with payment providers (such as Airwallex) to process payments, with email providers to send transactional notices, and where required by law or to protect our legitimate interests.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers located in Hong Kong and transmitted over HTTPS. Account and order data is kept for the life of the account and thereafter for the period required by law (generally seven years for accounting records).

6. Your rights

You may access and correct your personal data or ask us to delete your account (except transaction records we must keep by law). Email info@storywave.hk; we respond within 40 days.
